UTMB finisher 2019. En prestation som plötsligt bleknade. Ultra Trail Mont Blanc är loppet jag drömt om, siktat på och levt för i så många år.

värsta tävlingsupplevelse hittills i livet och jag tvivlade starkt på om jag verkligen skulle fortsätta resan mot UTMB. UTMB har tre större stationer med mer eller mindre riktig mat, och sovmöjligheter för den som blir trött. Dessutom åtta stationer med ett rikt utbud av tilltugg som  Sveriges laguppställning inför UTMB. Det drar ihop sig. Om en vecka går startskottet för, ska vi kalla det Trail-OS. Ultra Trail Mont Blanc samlar  på prispallen när Jonas Buud sprang in på en andraplats, 30 minuter efter segraren, i 2012 års upplaga av Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB).

Min säsong ändrades under vintern från att fokuserat på ytterligare ett lopp i UTMB –PTL där jag blev förste svensk att klara dessa 300km och 25500M+ år 2013. It is quite a challenge when ”Hisingsparken” I live  The countdown is on and it seems almost unreal to me that the 30th August 2019 at 18:00 CET I will run the UTMB® - Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc!
